The LithoQB team took part in the 12th International Geological and Geophysical Conference "Saint Petersburg 2026. Geosciences: From modern challenges to solutions that open the future."
The event brought together representatives of scientific organizations, oil and gas companies, and geophysical services. For us, participating in this conference was an opportunity to discuss research approaches in a professional environment and compare them with practical tasks in interpretation, reservoir property prediction, and improving the quality of geological and geophysical analysis.
At the conference, the team presented work on seismic inversion and Prony filtering. Special attention was given to the use of LMR inversion for carbonate reservoir description and to the use of local structural information for regularizing wavefield inversion.
Participation in the conference made it possible to discuss these directions in an industrial context, where algorithm quality is directly connected to interpretation decisions, uncertainty assessment, and practical reservoir characterization.
